Our Partners

Orlaith O’Brien

Orlaith O’Brien is a founding partner of OBH Partners and the head of their corporate and finance group. She has practiced domestically and internationally from Dublin for 20 years and in that time her experience has covered public and private corporate transactions, IPOs and secondary listings on the Irish and London stock markets, Takeover Code issues in Ireland and the UK, banking and commercial contracting matters and listed and unlisted international debt securities.

June Hynes

June is a founding partner of OBH Partners. June’s practice area is property where she has significant experience in acquiring, selling and developing commercial and residential property including extensive experience in both commercial and residential developments. June advises a number of notable clients with regard to their property portfolios. June also advises on drafting and negotiating commercial lease arrangements and landlord and tenant law

John Burke

John is a Commercial Property Partner and has over 25 years’ experience in commercial property matters, including: large scale acquisitions, site assembly and disposal acting for developers and investors and for both landlord and tenants in relation to commercial leases. John also has a Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Administration and also advises clients on a full range of construction related agreements, including building contracts; professional team appointment contracts; collateral warranties; bonds; project supervisor appointments; sub-contracts.

Susan Noone

Susan Noone is a partner in the corporate team, having joined the practise as a trainee when it began in 2002. Susan represents Irish and international clients. Her focus is primarily on the sale and acquisition of private companies, asset sale transactions, restructuring projects and corporate governance. She also advises on shareholder and employment related matters.

David Lynch

David heads up our Commercial Litigation Department and deals with a wide variety of commercial disputes. Apart from court litigation, he advises on alternative dispute resolution procedures such as arbitration and mediation. David also advises on insolvency procedures, including liquidations, receiverships and examinerships, and in this regard has advised insolvency practitioners from some of the major accountancy firms. He also works in the general corporate area, advising on the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and also on various aspects of mergers & acquisitions.

Daragh Bohan

Daragh is a Partner of the Banking Division. With over 30 years’ experience in the financial sector, he works with clients on projects in the domestic and international market. Leading the firm’s expertise and advisory in this division Daragh has been integral to the firm’s strategic plan for growth and expansion in recent years. Having previously held senior positions at two of the largest law firms in Ireland, his skills add significantly to the already well-resourced team at OBH Partners.

Domhnall McKevitt

Domhnall is a Partner with our Commercial Property team and has practised in the area for over twenty years. His expertise includes the areas of property acquisitions and sales, whether for investment or development and subsequent sales. Domhnall acts on transactions for corporates, funds, investor groups and high net-worth individuals. Offering significant expertise in property and development based disputes, litigation and resolutions Domhnall has acted in disputes and actions covering restructuring, debt resolution, statutory freehold acquisitions, and planning and development matters. Domhnall brings a client driven pragmatism and informed commerciality to all matters with a view to ensuring the best result is always delivered to his clients.
